名古屋在住の浅野裕介を中心とした不定形ユニット。ガムラン、カリンバ、シタール、生ギター、様々なパーカッションなどの生音とアナログシンセの響きを活かしつつ、ポストロック、ラウンジ、アンビエント、ミニマル、ダブ、スピリチュアルジャズ、ワールドミュージックなどジャンルを横断しつつアジア的な叙情感のある夢心地で美しい音空間を展開。2002年11月に同レーベルよりファーストアルバム「kupu kupu」(SS-06)を発表。CRJ-Cの年間チャートの1位を得るなど各方面から絶賛される。またEUPHONE、ISOTOPE 217、TORTOISE、JIMMY EAT WORLD等のジャケで有名なアンディー・ミューラーが日本人アーチストに初めてジャケットを手掛けた事も話題となった。2004年12月はイルリメ、saidrum、L?K?O、lullatone、mas、tanaka akira等豪華メンバー参加のリミックスアルバムを同じ名古屋のレーベル"THANKS GIVING"からリリース、2004年11月東京のアブストラクトレーベル"mao"のコンピに参加するなど目が離せない。今回の作品は新曲x2、セルフリミックスx1、tanaka akiraのカバーの4曲を提供。

YMO、デトロイトテクノ等の影響を受け'95年頃から音楽制作開始。ヒップホップ影響下でトラック製作を経て本名名義でのソロ活動開始。PCを主体とした叙情性豊かなエレクトリック・サウンドへと音楽性をシフトさせ、快適な速度感と新たな日常感覚とも言えるイメージを作り出すことに成功。2002年にMILS、松岡成久、YUZO KAKOらで知られる日仏共同レーベル"+croSs"より1stフルアルバム「NEW TOWN」を発表。数々の媒体において高い評価を得る。同レーベルのremixコンピにも半野善弘、モユニジュモ、リョウ・アライらと共に参加。また、ソニーミュージックエンターテイメント内のレーベル、"DefSTAR"からリリースされた鏡リュウジ氏プロデュースによるコンピに大野由美子(Buffalo Daughter)、ピアニカ前田、こだま和文らと共に収録された。TELEFON TEL AVIVやTHE MERCURY PROGRAMも彼のファンであったりと海外アーチストの良い反応も得ている、話は結局無くなるがシカゴのHEFTYからのリリース予定もありました。今後の予定は東京のnano machineとのコラボレーションなど。今回の作品は新曲x4、asanaのリミックスx1の5曲を提供。
